So many times we allow things like time and circumstances to pull us along. We become victims to what is around us instead of addressing what we want out of a situation. In today's episode, I talk about three of the most powerful "C" words. These words have the power to change our lives for the good or bad, or better. Well, here we are!!! One Year ago I honestly had no idea how I would even get here or IF I would get here. But we are at 1 year of the podcast. This is just my thank you to you! Friend! Today's episode was inspired by some questions and comments I saw from some widows. As I read their comments and listened to their hearts question if they will ever get through "it" and if they are doing "it" right...I realized that there are so many things we ask the same questions about. So even if you aren't a widow- listen to this episode and you can replace it with whatever your questions are. Take the permission slip and take walk the journey you need to walk. Friends and family (and of course the bossy lady down the street) well they all have opinions of how things should be done- or what they think things should look like. The reality is- they have not walked your walk. They do not know your struggles and your future. It is ok to not accept every piece of advice that someone offers! In fact- give yourself permission to say "I've got this"!!!! Take each day and take the steps to live! Once we are on this journey-- the destination is heaven...so don't try to bypass the present moment to get through to the next step.
I hope this episode brings you encouragement! It is a good reminder for myself as well!

I don't believe that confidence comes with success. I think if we expect success to help us build confidence then we are missing out on SOOO much growth and understanding. I think we should remove confidence from our actions completely! Confidence comes from the assurance of who we are and WHOSE we are! In this episode, we dive into little things you can do to start building your confidence RIGHT NOW! I can't believe we are at the end of 2021. This year seemed to fly by but go slow all at the same time. Whew! What a YEAR. If you haven't taken the time yet to look back at 2021 and write down your wins- take this time now! Write down 10 wins (no matter the size) from 2021 and then do a happy dance for each one! Celebrate them!!! My guess is you have wins that are bigger than you expected.
Let's take a moment to also acknowledge the part fear played in your year...and bring it to light so it won't go into 2022 with you! Listen in and let's end this year well!

Hey hey! Ok! So the holidays are here (seriously this week!) They came so fast! This episode follows the same theme from this month- getting hep through the holidays and how to end 2021 well. The holidays are hard. Ha! Did I even need to write that? Probably not. Not only are holidays hard but then to add grief on top of it. Friend- this time is hard. It is ok for it to be hard. You do not have to push down your feelings and pretend that you are "fine! fine! everything's fine". In today's episode, I just wanted to let you know I see you. I know how hard it is to be solo during the holidays where love prevails. I know what its like to walk in solo to a couples party and pretend that you fit right in (and want to fit in, these are your friends). I know what its like to have to change the way things are done to accommodate our new normal. If you are struggling and need to know you are not alone- listen in. This episode is for you.

I HATE hurting people's feelings. I hate making people feel bad. I know I'm not alone in this. But what do you do when you accidentally hurt someone's feelings inadvertently? What do you do when you are just joking around and didn't realize someone took it the wrong way? Is it worth losing the friendship? Should you stress about it and avoid them from now on? Of course not! But it does require us to set down our ego and grow. I recently made a comment to a new friend that was taken the wrong way (I honestly didn't know how it hurt her). She brought it to my attention (which I am super thankful for) and from it, I was able to grow. So in today's episode, I give you a very simple approach to fixing the wrongs. It may seem second nature- but sometimes as adults, we need to be reminded- I know I needed to. So learn from my mistake and my approach to fixing it. Save the friendship, grow as a person, and move on! Listen in!
