Hey Hey! Today we are wrapping up our series on Fast Tracking Your Healing. These are proven steps that have helped me and many others really stop feeling overwhelmed with the idea of healing, and helped us get "unstuck" and move forward to what we want. This isn't just for those who are grieving a loss- but for anyone who wants to move forward quickly and with intentionality. In today's episode, we talk about slowing down to speed up. We talk about how the noise keeps us stuck and blocks us from what we really want.
What if the key to moving faster was actually slowing down? Weird thought right? Well, it helped me and I KNOW it will help you too!
The book I mentioned is "Invitation to Solitude and Silence" by Ruth Haley Barton. It is a great way to start the practice. I highly recommend it!

Wouldn't it be great if we could control our thoughts which in turn would control our actions? What if I told you it was true? What if I told you that you can achieve what you want by renewing and rewiring your brain? In today's episode, we dive into our ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) a little more. We talk about the importance of renewing our minds (you know it's true because it's in the Bible!). Not every thought we have is true (shocking I know! I mean I knew that to be true- but I didn't act like it is a fact- until now!). Not every thought you have is true- let that sink in! What freedom comes from that! So today we dive into let your mind settle on that and embrace the power of renewing and rewiring your thoughts! This is one of my MOST FAVORITE things about coaching...getting to walk people through the truth and helping them rewire their brain. We also talk about affirmations in this episode- I'm going against popular beliefs here, but there is a science to rewiring the brain- affirmations do not hit the mark. They make you feel good momentarily but they do NOT give you lasting transformation! Dive in and get curious about what is possible for you!

Over the past few weeks, I have been giving you the steps to healing faster. Some say you aren't able to heal on a timeline and though I do believe that is true...to an extent...I do believe you can take intentional steps to speed up the process and craft a future you want. You don't have to sit in the raw pain of a broken spirit. You do not have to sit with your loss and be helpless or even feel stuck. These steps will move you through where you are and into a Restored Spirit. They are not for the weak that's for sure. They are all simple but ask for you to step out of your comfort zone, get real with yourself, step into vulnerability, and be honest about what you have, where you are, and what you want. You've got this! I know you do! Today's step may seem a little out of the realm of possibilities. It may even seem a little far-fetched or not something you FEEL like doing. Do it anyway! Remember you can't get something new if you do not do something new. What could your life look like in 6 months if you intentionally made a choice today?

I hope you are enjoying this series. So many people ask how they can heal faster and stop hurting quicker. I think it is safe to say that we all want to heal. We want to feel better. We want to move forward. We want to live. I think it is also safe to say that it is a scary thought to release the raw pain and choose a life of healing, a life of restoration, and a life of joy. Hey Friend!!! Welcome back to another episode. I have a good one for you. Today I share some of my thoughts about freedom. I pose some questions for you. I share some of my thoughts on the choice to heal. I didn't do everything right in my healing journey. I struggled a lot (this is hard for the Enneagram 1 in me to admit- not because it's not true- but because before I knew better- I tried to hide my struggle). Now that I realize that the struggle is part of the journey, I can embrace it all. I can choose through the struggle what I want the outcome to look like, feel like, be like. This is what I want for you too! I want you to be able to decide today...and not let circumstances dictate your life. Listen in!
