Friend! I am so glad you are here! This is a message that I have had on my heart for so so so long, and today was the day it needed to come out. We are on this Earth for a purpose and calling, yet we sit stuck. We feel overwhelmed and we don't know our next step. We are anxious about the future and allow it to paralyze us. Today's episode is from my heart. I share a little bit of why I am so passionate about what I do and why I do it. We are called for IMPACT! We are called to serve and the only way to do that is to figure out how God made us. So listen in, be encouraged and TAKE A STEP! DO not let regrets stop you from creating a future you can get excited about. Do not let fears from the past keep you from stepping out and being brave! We are doing this together my friend!

Hey hey! I just got back from an AMAZING trip to Europe. I went with my family and my guy and his family. Talk about crazy (we traveled with 9 people- it's never an easy feat) and we had a blast! I can't wait to share more about my adventures. BUT today I wanted to talk about next steps after we discovered how we are in our way...how can we be RESCUED!

Okay- today may ruff some feathers, and I'm okay with this! I have been asked A LOT recently about how I could "dare" use the Enneagram as a Bible-believing Christian. I have been criticized for my decision to use it and today I wanted to set the record straight! Why should you use the Enneagram? Do I put the Enneagram above the Bible? Am I more of the world because I use the Enneagram as a tool? Do I believe the Enneagram is more "spiritual" than religious?

Wow did I get some feedback and support from my last podcast. I guess I”m not the only one who gets in my own way (“Who knew”- she says tongue in cheek). So often, we stop ourselves from getting what we want or even doing what we know we should be doing. Do you know why? Me too! I’d love to know- just kidding, I do know. It’s because of a basic need we have to be comfortable. We sit in the comfortable fear or sit uncomfortably comfortable feeling guilty about our choices (hello Netflix rather than reading a book), or we tell ourselves we don’t have time (again netflix or youtube shorts!).
As you listen to the rest of these “things” these excuses we are using to get in the way. I use to call them reasons and could justify each one- until I realized that was one of the ways I was getting in my own way too…there is a bonus for you 😆. As you listen, identify the ways these have been used in your life. Which ones have been your go to blockers? Do you have a favorite? And then I want you to ask yourself what becomes possible when you stop allowing that ONE way from blocking you. What if you used it as an indicator that something is on the horizon and you should act rather than giving in and allowing yourself to feel the guilt.
So dive in and then do your homework!!! Don’t wait…if you do wait then ask yourself- am i getting in my own way AGAIN and go back and listen to the episode again and identify which tactic you are using 🤪

I honestly haven't met anyone who doesn't know the "sound" (I guess that is what it is called) that is on reels and shorts- that says "Hi! It's me. I'm the problem. It's me." We joke about it all the time. When I ask people what is stopping them from getting what they want, everyone knows it's themselves. They know what they need to do AND still stop themselves from doing it. I know I get in my own way a LOT. Do I have an episode for YOU! I wanted to list some common ways that we are getting in our own way that we do not recognize. These are all tried and true ways (at one point or another, I have experienced them all-doh!). Also, I know my friends, colleagues, and clients have also experienced them. We can't fit what we do not identify! Hey hey! I'm not sure when you will listen to this podcast, but it is set to air on Memorial Day. A day for most that signify the start of summer, exceptional deals and sales, and a happy day to get together and have a BBQ. This is not what this day means to me. Do I take advantage of the sales, enjoy the warmer weather, and hang out with friends and family -YES, AND it's also a day that brings sadness. As I write this, I know there is a good chance that you have a day that everyone around you celebrates, which brings sadness or pain. It may be Mother's Day, a birthday, or a wedding. You don't want to ruin the celebration for everyone, AND you also don't feel like dancing a jig and throwing confetti. You don't have to. And you also get to. In today's episode, I want to inspire you and help you see how brave you are. You are the strong one for having these days and choosing to LIVE. I hope this enables you to see that. I hope you can look back and see your strength: how you are courageous and how your presence impacts others. I see you. And I appreciate having the space where I can be honest as well.

Hey Hey! Happy Monday (or whatever day you listen to this podcast!). I absolutely love talking about this subject. For years I really believed that failure and success were opposites. I believed both could be present, but it was all or nothing. What I didn't realize was that they were partners, not enemies. I didn't realize that by trying to avoid failure, I was also avoiding true success. The scientists have this one right...you have to fail at things to understand how to do them right. If you are not missing the mark, then will you ever hit it? Rarely! Every once in awhile you will get lucky- in fact just enough to make yourself believe that its the way it should always be done!
Friend! None of this is true!! We get to explore. We get to try different things. We get to fall. AND we get to try again and work towards something we want. Where in your life are you limiting yourself because you are afraid to fall short? Listen in and I hope you are inspired to go for something no matter the outcome!

hey hey! Ok so I just finished the first workshop in the Discover You Membership Community. We dove into getting clear about the values that define us. We have all heard the saying, "if we don't stand for something, we fall for anything." I would like to take it even further and say that if you do not know your core values, you are always feeling out of alignment with your schedule. Things do not happen by accident. We do not have a fluid and energizing schedule simply because it fell into place. NO! We have to pour into ourselves and our people intentionally.
